Engineering Scope & Project Story
An extensive urban design and landscaping project in and around Sultanahmet Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site at the heart of the Historic Peninsula, delivered while protecting its historic character. Natural granite and basalt paving, concealed infrastructure drainage and architectural lighting sympathetic to the monuments were carefully integrated.
Original Character & Heritage Preservation
Faithful restoration approved by the Cultural Heritage Preservation Board, using original materials and stone cleaning.
Structural Reinforcement
Concealed steel suspension, hydraulic injection and ground consolidation applied without altering the historic structure.
The Future of Cultural Heritage
Works preserved for future generations in full compliance with UNESCO and international restoration charters.
